LIFT OFF!

Welcome to RichieNickel.com this is my brand new website designed to outlet my musing on my life with everything from fashion to beauty. If your unaware my name is Richie Nickel and for the past two years I created many fashion and makeup videos on YouTube. I hate when people blab on about what they are planning on doing, instead of doing it. So Im just going to delve right in and show you an average day of my life in london.

I was looking for some inspiration and I thought what better place to go than the Saatchi gallery on the kings road so I twaddled on down.
This was my first visit, it opened in 2008 I believe and I had only become aware of it recently.

Look Of The Day - Christopher Kane Explode Tshirt - Zara Blazer - Topshop Black Tights - Converse Black Leather High Tops - Balenciaga Black Work Bag - Michael Kors Watch - Topshop Gold Ring - Barry M mint green nail polish

The gallery was very impressive, modern, abstract and perfect for the kind of inspiration I was looking for. It wasn't too uppity and snobby like some or commercialized and filled with school children like the tate. The perfect public art gallery modern sleek sophisticated and free.

These painting were awesome they were paint on neon canvas. I love the mix of old and new aswell as their fairytale quality. One thing Im loving recently is neon pastels which I will talk about later.
The neon orange is the canvas and the rest is paint. This is actually the refection of a boat on water (as seen in previous photo) but I love the way it looks like dripping paint.

After visiting the Saatchi gallery I headed on the tube up to soho and stopped In this amazing sweet shop called 'Mrs Kibble's Olde Sweet Shoppe' on brewer street.

I've walked passed this place loads of times but never actually ventured in because its so tiny, Its very cute but be warned that cuteness comes at a price.

I then headed to one of my favourite eateries on Frith Street. Gourmet Burger Kitchen I used to eat this all the time when I lived in Belsize Park and let me tell you its the perfect cure to a hang over.
My favourite is the cheeseburger with bacon and of course a coke.

And what day would be complete without a MAC haul. I picked up some more superglasses [Im addicted] and more from the dare to wear collection, aswell as some neon pigments which I believe are now available at all MAC locations. They were released about two years at PRO and I overlooked them because they aren't really 'neon' they are more neon pastels which as I mentioned Im loving. I've seen so many 'Brights' recently that its nice to see something abit different so neon pastels are the way forward.

I promise not all my posts will be like this and I will feature upcoming collections, product reviews aswell as my fashion musings and looks of the day but I thought Id delve in and let you into my world for a day.
