Herve Leger S/S 11 @ Mercedes Benz Fashion Week - NYFW

While at New York Fashion Week I was Invited backstage by TEMPTU to the S/S 11 Herve Leger by Max Azria show at the Lincoln Center for Mercedez Benz Fashion Week.
It was extremely hectic backstage in the tents, with lots of media all vying for the best coverage of the backstage action.

I did my best to survive the craziness and snap a few photos and video for myself.
The head Makeup Artist for the show for the show was Lisa Butler.

After speaking with Max Azria she created a highlighted and sculpted look to compliment the clothes for this seasons collection. Which featured pastel corseted dresses with sleek boning and mesh lace lingerie detailing.
To Begin she used TEMPTU retouch foundation to even out the skin tone and give it a soft finish.
She then used TEMPTU retouch highlighter in 'Pink Pearl' to highlight the cheek bones and create an angelic glow.

For blush she used TEMPTU air pod blush in 'Soft Peach' to add a little colour to the cheeks.
For the body she used TEMPTU airbrush foundation along with the retouch highlighter in 'Pink Pearl' so that the models would glisten as they walked down the runway.
Here is the pile of TEMPTU retouch products that Lisa used on the models.
The TEMPTU pro team then got to work recreating the look on the other models.

After the models had done their run through and hair and makeup was finished they were then dressed for the show.
Here they are just before they step on to the runway.
You can see the makeup artists doing the final touches before the show begins.
with the models prepared, The show was ready to begin.
Here are some shots of the runway show (courtesy of Glamour.com). I did get to see the show but It was difficult to get a good shot of the models, As I was quite far away and the lighting on the runway was very orange.
The dresses were absolutely gorgeous, Classic Herve mixed with a modern Marie Antoinette.
