Backstage @ Felder Felder LFW A/W 2011

Felder Felder Autumn Winter 11 was right up my alley with inspiration coming from rock and roll loving club kids and women with attitude. It was bold, strong and packed full of attitude with punky playful clothes and gothic blue black lips. I went backstage to show you how everything came together before the show began.

The makeup look for the show was created by Georgina Graham and was inspired by cool punk girls like Siouxsie Sioux, Blondie and Strawberry Switchblade.
It was a strong focus on eyes and lips, with graphic winged liner and a structured blue black mouth.
The skin was left natural to give it a healthy fresh texture, all that was used was Care Blend Essential Oils massaged into the face and neck to plump it, and a bit of Face And Body foundation with Select Cover Up to cover up any imperfections.
The graphic winged liner was created by using Black Track Fluidline in a short square winged shape. Copperplate Eyeshadow was then used in the inner corner, up to the brow and into the socket bone of the eye to contour.
The lips were first lined in Ebony Pencil in a sharply defined square shape and filled in with Blue and Black Lip Mix.
Marine Ultra Pigment was then pressed in the center of the lips for a bold blue highlight.
The hair was left minimal and effortless.
Once the makeup and hair was done it was on to dressing the models for the catwalk.
The clothes were stunning, I love the mix of tough rocker leather, studs and rivets and the loose flowy animalistic tribal prints.

Nothing was left out, notice the blue fur shoulders and embellished leather leggings its like african tribe meets 80's punk.
