Sleek MakeUP Aqua Collection Review

It's finally starting to feel like spring in the UK and this new aqua collection from Sleek MakeUP encourages you to "dive in to spring" with it's aquatic colour palette and glistening ocean hues.

Starting off it wouldn't be a Sleek Collection without an i-Divine palette. This one is the Lagoon palette with colours inspired by legendary tales of mermaids.

'Sassea'     'Deep Water'     'Reflection'    'Emerald 'Oyster'     'Black Pearl'
'Pink Jewel'    'Sand Dollar'    'Underworld'    'Sea Shell'    'Night Sky'    'Ariel'

My favourite shades have got to be Deep Water and Black Pearl. Deep Water is a gorgeous matte deep indigo shade, which reminds me a bit of Daphne by Nars but with slightly better colour pay off. Black Pearl is actually quite unique for a black eyeshadow, it has a very subtle shimmer which gives it an almost wet look when applied to the skin.

Next up is the blush in Mirrored Pink, normally Sleek blushes are too deep and pigmented for my skintone but this one really works for me.
It's a mid tone pink with gold shimmer, which again gives that almost wet look dewy glow to the cheeks. It's very blendable and buildable making it suitable for any skintone.

And finally is this nail set in Deep Waves, which I think are new from Sleek.

There are four super summery shades all of which are a bit to bright for me.

This is two coats and as you can see Cote d'Azur and Tropic could both do with another coat. I did find that these applied nicely but definitely not opaquely and the shades are certainly not to my taste. They are decent value though, each bottle is 5ml and the set costs £9.99 for four, so it's certainly good if you want a selection of colours to take away with you on your summer holiday.

Lagoon i-Divine Palette - £7.99
Mirrored Pink Blush - £4.49
Deep Waves Nail Set - £9.99
